The tail end of Storm Deirdre has hit Ireland and I’ve still to run tonight. I’m OK with the storm as it means that no one else will be outside and I’m free to get the miles in. Weather is just weather unless it’s ice.
I’m only glad that I flew into Dublin last night and not tonight. This is a map of a turbulence forecast for Ireland tonight.
I’m struggling to blog. I don’t know if I will continue updating on a daily basis as one thing I learned last year is that it’s more important to continue to run than it is to blog about not running. I’ll see how it goes.
Christmas time is a time for relaxation but I don’t want to undo all the progress I’ve made this year. When I get back tonight I won’t be celebrating with pizza or coke. I’m gonna do everything I can not to fall into a rut again. I remember how difficult it was to get out of it so I’m gonna set my expectations low and arrest decline before it really takes hold.
Anyway, wish me luck cunts. I’m away outside to be blown off.
