Milton Keynes Athletic Club

Marshall Milton Keynes Athletic Club is affiliated to UK Athletics, England Athletics and Buckinghamshire Athletic Association . The Club competes in the South of England and is located in the South East Region. The Club exists to provide members with Track and Field, Road, X-Country and Fell-race competition, recreation, advice and assistance by qualified coaches, league competition for all age groups, (age 9 upwards) and, most important of all, good fun. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at Stantonbury Stadium, Milton Keynes. from 6pm. There are weekly sessions for 5-8 year-olds during the winter months at various locations. Contact Gordon Fallow for further details. The Tiger Group for 9-11 year-olds meets at the track, Stantonbury Campus on Monday evenings. The sessions are at 5:30pm and 6:30pm. July 27: England Athletics 5000m Championships at Stantonbury

The England Athletics 5000m Championships will be held as part of the MK5000 PB Special, a series of twelve 5000m races for men and women, starting at 3pm, with the elite races at 8pm and 8:30pm.

This event is now full at 381 entries, although the organizers will still take entries from men under 14:10 and women under 16:10 here. SeeĀ last year's results where 60% of runners achieved PBs.

For Spectators, there will be free stadium entry, street food, a bar, a DJ and the chance to get close up to the action.

July 20: MMK U15 Team in Midlands Area Final at Yate

The Marshall Milton Keynes U15/U13 Team has qualified for the Midlands Area Final at Yate, near Bristol, by winning the Midlands Premier (North East) Division of the Youth Development League. The coach will leave from the Stantonbury track car park at 7:30am on Saturday.

The Teams are

  • Rugby & Northampton
  • Swansea Harriers

The top two teams will qualify for the National Finals at Manchester on Saturday 7 September.
