Congratulations to Sam Bethea, State Champion in the 110-Meter Hurdles and Cory Berg, State Runner-Up in the 300-Meter Hurdles. Their efforts propelled MV Track to a Seventh Place Team finish.

MVMS Power of the Pen Team MVMS Power Of The Pen Team State Runner-Up.
The Mount Vernon Middle School Power of the Pen Team placed second in the State at the College of Wooster on May 24.  Team members are Hannah Hofferberth, Emily Hammond, Ian Hawthorne, Rachel Ruth, Julie King and Tiffany Marchio.

Ohio Department of Medicaid Logo Ohio Medicaid School Program Annual Notice
The Mt Vernon City School District has the opportunity to receive  Federal Medicaid dollars through a program called the Ohio Medicaid  School Program (MSP). Through this program, school districts can receive  Medicaid dollars for services such as Speech, Audiology, Physical  Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Counseling, and  Social Work services.  Read More... for program details.
